perftastic: they say you need to accept people for who they’ve become, but if they’re not the same person you became friends with way back when—as in, i don’t even recognize you or this person you’re now playing—i see no reason in being compelled to stay in touch with someone you don’t know anymore just for the sake of calling them a friend.  We get into this “counting friends”...

Why is it the expectation for us to know the “secret language”?
